The Boston, a popular gay bar and late night venue, is reaping the benefits of a rented jukebox after contacting HireJukebox to provide the music for its Northampton venue.

The bar, which previously had an outdated jukebox, installed a VenueHub video jukebox in order to ensure a constant stream of new music for its customers – a smart upgrade considering the rented jukebox has over seven million tracks, including every UK top 10 video since 1980.

The Boston’s manager, Natalie Drew, commented on the popularity of the jukebox, saying:

“Everyone is going crazy for the new video jukebox. The customers love it. The weekly music video updates keeps it constantly up to date with the latest charts.

Because we have screens all over the pub to play the music videos the jukebox is the main focal point of the venue.”

Natalie also enjoys the interactive element of her rented jukebox; The Boston are utilising the manager photo feature which allows customers to upload new photographs from their night out at the venue, which are then displayed on screens around the pub. She comments that the feature draws more people to the jukebox and helps to contribute to the atmosphere in the venue.
