As a popular stop-off point for gig-goers heading to Birmingham’s NEC and NIA concert venues, The Rocket Pub in Coventry has always been known for attracting music lovers. Given this reputation, it was vital for the venue to have a new jukebox in place ahead of the venue’s official re-opening, especially with the local Godiva Music Festival taking place practically on the pub’s doorstep.

This central location has clearly paid off, as the venue’s owners report the new jukebox went down a storm with regulars and festival-goers alike over the opening weekend, constantly attracting a crowd. On Bird’s recommendation, the Rocket Pub’s owners also chose to set occasional gaps between songs, encouraging even more pub-goers to use the jukebox during the music breaks.

Indie favourites Oasis, The Enemy and The Stone Roses proved to be firm favourites for the venue, though with a track library covering every era since the 1950s and numerous genres from blues and rock to pop and dance, the jukebox offers something for everyone. In fact, thanks to the model’s digital connection, offering automatic new music updates including the latest chart releases, even the most dedicated new music fanatics will be impressed with the selection available.
